NI (National Instruments) joins Weihua to expand new boundaries in the test field

The Internet of Things, 5G and automotive electronics are the next most important battlegrounds for the semiconductor industry. More complex chip designs will test fabs and test plants. The requirements for accuracy, test cost and test time are more stringent than ever. In the context of China's semiconductor industry boom, NI (National Instruments) has partnered with Weihua Technology, which will be responsible for the electronics manufacturing expo distribution of Semiconductor Test Systems (STS) in Greater China.

The two companies seem to be in different positions but have very similar genes. NI is the system from the instrument, and Weihua has also been the agent of the electronics manufacturing expo instrument, and has the experience of doing customer systems. For customers in Greater China, NI has leading products and technologies, especially in IoT and RF. Weihua has accumulated 32 years in the semiconductor testing industry and has the largest engineering team and service team in Greater China. The two sides join forces to complement each other and be able to output more electronics manufacturing expo value to customers.

NI's PXI platform is already an open industry standard and the foundation for all of NI's development of its test systems. The open, modular platform, from lab to production, is based on the same platform. Feature analysis and production engineers can upgrade the electronics manufacturing expo system as test requirements change.

The focus of this collaboration, STS, integrates the NI PXI platform, TestStand test management software, and LabVIEW graphical programming electronics manufacturing expo tools in a completely closed test head. The design is integrated into the test head to integrate all key test resources of the product. Including system controllers, DC AC power supplies, RF instruments, interface to be tested, and sorting instruments and probe interfaces.
