Korean media: LG Display Guangzhou 8.5 generation OLED factory put into operation in August

According to Bloomberg News, South Korea's "Daily Economic News" quoted an unnamed news that LG Display's 8.5-generation OLED factory in Guangzhou, China will be put into operation in August. The monthly output of the LG electronics manufacturing expo Display Guangzhou plant will reach 60,000, and the output will increase to 90,000.

In July 2018, LG Display's investment plan for the establishment of the 8.5-generation OLED panel production line in Guangzhou was approved by the State Administration of Market Supervision.

At that time, LG Display is expected to be completed and put into electronics manufacturing expo production in the second half of 2019, with a monthly production capacity of 60,000 sheets and a maximum capacity of 90,000 sheets. It mainly produces UHD ultra-high-definition 55-77-inch TV OLED panels.

This is the third production line established by LG Display in Guangzhou after the module factory and LCD production line. It is also the first large-size OLED panel production line established outside Korea.

IDC: Nearly a quarter of companies have more than half of their artificial intelligence projects failing

Samsung 5nm process adds new progress!

5G pushes up demand, GaAs RF devices will reach a total revenue of 6.492 billion US dollars in 2020

Since the mobile communication frequency range of the 4G era has progressed to 1.8 to 2.7 GHz, the traditional 3G Si RF front-end device is not enough, and the 5G-pass market is entering a high-speed growth period, and its frequency band will be wider (including 3 ~5GHz, 20~30GHz), so whether it is 4G or 5G communication electronics manufacturing expo applications, the current RF devices will gradually be replaced by GaAs.
