VisionChina, organized by the China Machine Vision Union (CMVU), is a highly influential exhibition and conference platform in the machine vision industry. The China Machine Vision Union (CMVU), also known as the Machine Vision Industry Unin of ZGC , is a national, non-profit social organization with independent legal status, officially registered and approved by the Ministry of Civil Affairs of China. CMVU is a national enterprise alliance formed voluntarily by manufacturers of machine vision components and systems, system integrators, distributors, consulting agencies in machine vision and imaging technologies, and end-users from various industries utilizing machine vision products across the country. Currently, CMVU has 360 member companies.

As one of the top five machine vision industry organizations globally, CMVU has established close collaborations with industry associations in North America, Europe, and Japan, jointly formulating industry standards and development strategies for machine vision technologies. It is the only G3 organization member representing China in the field.

CMVU organizes VisionChina exhibitions and conferences in Shenzhen, Shanghai, and Beijing, which have become leading global events in the industry.

The union has released several industry group standards, including:

• Terminology for Industrial Lenses
• General Terminology for Industrial 3D Cameras
• CFL, CFL-II, CFL-III Industrial Large-Format Lens Interfaces

It has also published the national standard Image-Based Inspection Methods for the Photoelectric Performance of Vision Modules.

In addition, CMVU regularly publishes the China Machine Vision Industry Market Report and the Machine Vision Industry White Paper, organizes innovation product awards for machine vision, publishes the Machine Vision magazine and operates the Machine Vision Network platform, and is committed to training talent in the machine vision industry.
